OVERVIEW Welcome to JULE, operated by Julie Machová! The terms “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to JULE. JULE is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to safeguard your account credentials.

SECTION 2 – OUR PRODUCTS We strive to display our products as accurately as possible. However, colors, materials, or sizes may vary slightly depending on your device or screen settings. We reserve the right to modify product descriptions, discontinue products, or change pricing at any time without prior notice. We also reserve the right to limit sales of our products to any person, region, or jurisdiction on a case-by-case basis.

SECTION 3 – ORDERS All orders are subject to acceptance by JULE. Once you place an order, you will receive an order confirmation via email. This confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not constitute legal acceptance of your order — acceptance occurs only when we dispatch the item(s) to you. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order for any reason, including suspected fraud or unauthorized transactions. If an order is cancelled, we will notify you via the email or phone number provided at checkout. Please review your order carefully before confirming, as changes or cancellations may not be possible after processing. Your purchases are subject to our Refund Policy.

SECTION 4 – PRICES AND BILLING All prices are listed in your selected currency and are subject to change without notice. Prices do not include applicable taxes, customs duties, or shipping fees unless stated otherwise at checkout. You agree to provide valid and up-to-date billing and payment information for all purchases. By submitting your payment information, you authorize us to charge your designated payment method for the total amount of your order.

SECTION 5 – SHIPPING AND DELIVERY We ship worldwide. Delivery times vary depending on your location and selected shipping method. JULE is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, customs clearance, or other events beyond our control. However, in accordance with European Union consumer law, the risk of loss or damage to the goods passes to you only when you (or a third party indicated by you) acquire physical possession of the goods.

Because our store is hosted by Shopify, your data is also processed under Shopify’s Privacy Policy. SECTION 13 – DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES Subject to your statutory rights under applicable EU consumer protection laws, all products and Services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

SECTION 14 – WARRANTY AND CLAIMS In accordance with European Union and Czech consumer law, we provide a 24-month statutory warranty on all our jewelry, starting from the date you receive the goods.

What is covered: This warranty covers manufacturing defects, such as faulty clasps, defective threading, or loose stones that occur despite proper care.

What is not covered: The warranty does not apply to:

  • Normal wear and tear (e.g., superficial scratches from daily use).

  • Mechanical damage caused by improper use, accidents, or rough handling (e.g., bent posts, snapped rings, or stripped threads).

  • Damage caused by improper care, such as exposure to harsh chemicals, perfumes, cosmetics, swimming pools, or hot springs.

Important Note on Silver Oxidation: All our jewelry is crafted from genuine 925 sterling silver. It is a natural chemical characteristic of silver to oxidize (tarnish or darken) over time when exposed to air, moisture, or an individual's natural skin pH. This oxidation is not a manufacturing defect, does not mean the silver is of poor quality, and therefore cannot be claimed under warranty. Tarnished silver can easily be restored to its original shine using a standard silver polishing cloth.

How to make a claim: If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact us at julejewellery@gmail.com with your order number, a detailed description of the issue, and clear photos of the defect. We will evaluate your claim and provide instructions for a repair, replacement, or refund.

SECTION 15 – LIMITATION OF LIABILITY To the fullest extent permitted by law, and without limiting your statutory consumer rights, JULE shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption, arising from your use of the Services or purchase of our products.

SECTION 16 – INDEMNIFICATION You agree to indemnify and hold harmless JULE, its owner, and service providers from any claim or demand made by any third party arising from your breach of these Terms or violation of any law or third-party rights.

SECTION 17 – SEVERABILITY If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

SECTION 18 – GOVERNING LAW These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Czech Republic. Any disputes shall be resolved before the competent courts of the Czech Republic. This does not deprive consumers within the EU of the protection granted to them by mandatory provisions of the law of their country of residence.

We reserve the right to update, modify, or replace any part of these Terms by posting changes to our website. Continued use of our Services following any updates constitutes acceptance of those changes.
